Corporate Litigation, Arbitration & Financial Crimes
Corporate disputes, arbitration, and financial crime matters before the NCLT, NCLAT, and constitutional courts.
India's growing economy has created significant opportunities for corporate entities, supported by the 2013 amendment to the Companies Act and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, which brought an end to indefinite insolvency proceedings under outdated legislation. Arbitration has become one of the most efficient means of resolving disputes within a defined timeframe, with recent legislative focus extending alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, to the MSME sector, which constitutes roughly a third of the Indian economy. Led by Gunjan Singh, Managing Partner, our corporate team handles corporate disputes before the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India. Rohit Bhagat leads the firm's arbitration practice, with more than nine years of experience representing entities including the Delhi District Cricket Association in arbitration proceedings.
